About the PPC

The PPC is a club for everyone. All skill levels are welcome, but we are specifically interested in finding and fostering brand new players, as well as committing to an inclusive and respectful environment.

Competition is involved, but we are most focused on providing fun, camaraderie, and encouragement.

We meet at North Bowl, located at 909 N 2nd St, in Northern Liberties.

North Bowl is a five-minute walk from the Spring Garden SEPTA station on the Market Frankford line.

League meetings take place on the upper level, which features a full service bar offering drink specials for PPC members.

On days when North Bowl is booked for an event, we'll play at South Bowl. Sign up for the newsletter or follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and FB for updates.

Each season costs $20 to participate. League dues go towards overhead costs, awards, and tournament prizes.

Players are also responsible for the cost of games played during league nights. Support your local operators!

Potential new members and visitors always play free on their first night.

Our Fall season runs 8 weeks and begins on October 5th. We meet every other Thursday for a total of four meetups and close the season out with a Finals tournament on a date TBD (late November is most likely).

Regular Season: Oct 5 | Oct 19 | Nov 2 | Nov 16

Finals: TBD

End-of-Season Tournament

If you're a PPC member, you're automatically qualified for the end-of-season tournament. Your scores during the regular season will qualify you for A, B, or C Division where you’ll face players of similar skills in the finals. Prizes are given for the top finishers in all three Divisions.

Meeting Format

This season's format is “Match Play”, where players will compete against one another in groups of 4. You'll be randomly assigned a group for the night, and will accumulate points based on where you finish in each game (1st through 4th). We'll use those points to calculate your position in the season's Standings, which will determine the Division you'll play in for the Finals.

Win a Game!

We're giving away a vintage game at the end of the season, and every registered player will be eligible to win. The winner will be chosen via a random drawing during the Finals tournament.
